There are a variety of services within the Hywel Dda Health Board that patients can self-refer, without having to see the GP.

  • Physiotherapy accepts self-referrals via an online portal  for joint pain issues, such as low back pain, and knee / shoulder / elbow pain. Please click on the following:

  • Ear Microsuction Service – Call the Pembrokeshire Ear Microsuction Clinic on Telephone 0300 3038322.

 

  • Mental Health and Wellbeing – “NHS 111 Press 2”. The service is available 24 / 7 if you need to talk to someone urgently about your mental health, or you’re concerned about a family member. Call NHS 111 and select “option 2” to be placed in direct contact with a mental health worker in your area.

  • Veterans NHS Wales is a priority mental health service for veterans and reservists who have served in HM Armed Forces. They can provide comprehensive assessments and psychological therapy to veterans with common mental health problems attributable to their military service e.g. as PTSD, anxiety and depression, or those that arise from peace-keeping / humanitarian operations, being bullied in service, or in response to a military attributable physical injury.  They can also signpost or refer veterans on to other services who can offer appropriate assistance.   • Weight management service offers advice and support, including dietetics, psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and medical support depending on your individual needs. The online referral portal is available here:
